Autumn in Bedford is stunning and as the city turns golden with the changing leaves, a festival is held to celebrate the season for its youngest residents. On the first Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Face painting, a hay maze, bonfire, a pumpkin patch and arts and crafts along with music and entertainment makes this a day to remember. Community groups such as the Southeast Library, University Hospitals, City of Bedford Police and Fire Departments, and Cleveland Metroparks help to make the event safe and fun.
